His First Week

It's been a week since Ethan was born. He develops a condition called Jaundice (黃疸), a yellowish tinge to his skin, in the first few days. Doctor suggested to put a Phototherpy unit over him and feed him more often. The next day, we went back to the clinic, his yellowish level was down significantly and he is no longer required to be put under the light.

Ethan was at the pediatrician's office yesterday. He gained more weights to 7 lbs, almost to the pounds when he was born. He measures at 51.5 cm in length.

We wrapped him in a blanket most of the time and he quite enjoys it. He is very satisfied after feeding and sleeps well.
