He's Moving On

Taking a first step may be the most exciting and anticipated moment in Ethan's life, both for him and us. His first true steps without (too much of) our help happened on the week of May 21st. After all, seeing him go from dependent infant in a crib, unable to do anything without our help, to walking, talking toddler, that is quite a leap for any parents like us to witness.

Everything comes with attachment, at least I think. Ethan now walks around the house and we need to set up perimeter for him to go around. This too can be a challenge, since a baby's suddent mobility means that Mom and Dad have to be much careful about child-proofing their homes.
